A painting is like a story. Here is Frances at five years old (when the artist first met her) and at 23 (when she was about to be married), in the same painting. It's a story of their relationship. Yann will work with you to define the themes that will best suit your needs. |

This portrait - Diane at the sea - was also made based on a photograph. Yann is particularly good at bringing to life subjects based solely on photographic material so that the traditional sitting is purely optional. You will notice how the eyes are very lifelike in Yann's portraits - some say they even follow you. |
